AfriForum continues its #AnchorTownRoadshow in Moreleta Park

On 26 February 2019 AfriForum continued its #AnchorTownRoadshow in Moreleta Park, in a massive field at the corner of De Villebois Mareuil Drive and Delmas Road.

As part of phase one of the clean-up action in Moreleta Park rubbish was picked up in the field, grass was cut and bushes were removed to prevent illegal sleepers from hiding there. About 200 garbage bags of rubbish and refuse were ultimately removed. Phase two of the action will continue in March.

“AfriForum’s brand within Pretoria confirms the anchor strategy of the Solidarity Movement for 2019 – #CreateHope. The Moreleta Park action forms part of various actions that will take place during the course of the week, with which AfriForum plans to paint the city orange. If you spot us, feel free to chat to us about what else we are planning,” says Lambert de Klerk, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for Greater Pretoria.

AfriForum encourages community members to become involved with initiatives that see to their needs. For more information about the #AnchorTownRoadshow, please visit the website at www.ankerdorp.co.za.
