AfriForum’s Bloemfontein branches repair potholes of R250 000

The civil rights organisation AfriForum yesterday started repairing potholes of 738 m2 in the streets of Bloemfontein at a cost of R250 000. The first action kicked off in Fleurdal.

“Our community can no longer stand back and look on how our city is deteriorating. AfriForum will tackle similar projects in Bloemfontein during the course of the year and subsequently assist the community to ensure that the city’s condition doesn’t worsen any further. AfriForum’s Bloemfontein branches are here to make a positive difference in our city and are making a plea to the community to become involved. We must be less dependent on Government and rather become self-sufficient,” says Pieter Myburg, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for Bloemfontein.

Become involved at your local AfriForum branch: SMS “Gat” to 45266 (R1).
