AfriForum’s Kuruman branch repairs Regional Services Council’s firefighting vehicle

The AfriForum branch in Kuruman instructed a local mechanic to repair the driving axle of the Regional Services Council’s only firefighting vehicle. The Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality does not have funds available to either maintain or repair these vehicles.

The firefighting vehicle is often used to extinguish fires in the area. Although the AfriForum branch’s fireteam is always ready to offer support in these situations, it is important that the Regional Services Council has the necessary equipment at hand to be able to provide this emergency service.
