New equipment for Springs-branch

The AfriForum branch in Springs has purchased new equipment on 8 March to improve the overall cleanliness of the city.

The new equipment includes two weedeaters, two leaf blowers, four hard hats, a chain saw and a lawnmower.

This equipment will not only be used to carry out the branch’s sustainable project at the duck pond more efficiently, but also to launch large-scale cleaning projects in the community.

“Being in a position to purchase this equipment is a good indication of what community structures can achieve with the necessary support. In this case, it is every AfriForum member’s financial contribution that makes this branch grow,” says Dewet Ungerer, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for the East Rand.
