Who and what is AfriForum?

AfriForum is an Afrikaans civil rights organisation that protects the rights of minority groups at national as well as provincial level, and anyone who can identify with AfriForum’s principles and objectives may join the organisation. AfriForum’s community plan focuses on mobilising communities to thus take control of their own streets and neighbourhoods again. AfriForum ensures that your constitutional and civil rights are recognised and protected at national level.

Tax relief

“People are suffering. Businesses are suffering. Unemployment is already an enormous crisis. The economy isn’t growing as it should. Tax relief is one of the most important steps Government can take right now to stimulate economic growth. This is why we are launching this campaign. However, we need the public’s input – AfriForum will compile an independent report in the next few months, to indicate the positive effects tax relief will signify for South Africa’s economy. It will be presented to the president in the form of a proposal. The more names we can add to this campaign, the stronger our mandate will be to take up this matter with Government,” says Ernst Roets, AfriForum’s Head of Policy and Action.
