AfriForum members qualify for a 50% discount on padel court bookings through the Playtomic app.

Discount rate for AfriForum members: R200 for 60 minutes for four players.

  • Special arrangement for Friday evenings only from 17:00 to 21:00 – this only applies to court four at Wingate Country Club on this night. Call Proactive Padel’s padel centre at Wingate Country Club. If court four is available on the Friday evening, book court four, pay via EFT and WhatsApp proof of payment to Wingate’s padel centre. A court booking can be confirmed only after proof of the EFT payment has been received. This is an exception, and the court booking cannot be done through the Playtomic app. Court four can only be booked on this evening (from 17:00), by contacting Wingate’s padel centre. Booking will depend on court four’s availability. A booking can be confirmed only after the EFT proof of payment has been received. No advance bookings.

• The benefit only applies to bookings on the Playtomic app.
• It will operate on a first come, first served basis. If the track has been booked by another Proactive Padel customer during a busy time (at the normal rate), this 50% court fee will not reflect on the app when an AfriForum member wants to make a reservation, and the court will then not be available owing to high occupancy.
• An AfriForum category is available on the Playtomic app. Only AfriForum members who are loaded on this category will see the discount.
• Members must download the Playtomic app, create a profile and then send their Playtomic profile as well as the email address they used to create the profile to admin@proactivepadel.com for the discount to be activated.
• The member will automatically receive a discount when he/she makes a booking. Members, download the Playtomic app from your app store to see course availability at the clubs before making a booking via the app.
• The discount will apply to the entire court and not just to the person making the reservation. So, if a member books the court and selects the “Pay for all” option, he/she will pay R200 for the court per hour instead of R400, and he/she can invite three other non-members to play as well.
• Playtomic’s standard rules will apply when it comes to cancellations, moving bookings or weather conditions.
• For three non-members to receive the discount, the AfriForum member will select the “Pay for all” option, reserve the course and pay for all four players.
• Payments are made directly through the app after credit card details are uploaded to the app. This does not apply to Friday evening bookings and payments.
• Bookings may be made only for a maximum of two weeks in advance.
• Players may bring their own paddles and balls.
• Paddles can be rented for R50/paddle and a container of balls can be bought for R150. Paddle hire and ball purchases must be paid for at the padel centre. No cash payments. Only credit and debit cards are accepted.
• No discount on top of discount. If Proactive Padel offers a special court discount promotion of e.g. 50%, the highest value discount will apply and not a combination of the promotion and the member benefit (50% discount for AfriForum members).
