Month of Self-reliance: Paulpietersburg branch replaces stop signs

The AfriForum branch in Paulpietersburg on 20 October 2017 launched a road safety action during which various stop signs were replaced in cooperation with the eDumbe Local Municipality. This project forms part of the civil rights organisation’s Month of Self-reliance.

“AfriForum appreciates it if a local municipality joins its forces with actions that we launch. We also continuously make a plea to members of the community to give their cooperation,” says Eugene van Aswegen, AfriForum’s Provincial Coordinator for KwaZulu-Natal.

The AfriForum branch in Paulpietersburg furthermore also received 20 litres of paint as donation that will speedily be used to paint black stop sign posts in the main street.
