New management team appointed for Springs branch

The AfriForum branch in Springs held its annual general meeting on Saturday (1 June) and during that time outlined the branch’s successes over the past year and appointed a new management team for the coming year.

The newly elected management consists of Petro Kirton (Chairman), Roos Trindade (Secretary), Ronel Greyling (Treasurer) and Alwyn Kirton (Leader of the Neighbourhood Watch).

“This management team has been selected to take the branch to new heights and to build on the strong foundation laid by their predecessors. The branch can look forward to a bright future under their leadership,” says Jurie Ferreira, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for the East Rand.

Ferreira adds that the new management team is ready to take on every challenge. “The management members are keen to make a difference and we look forward to the positive impact they will have on the community.”

“We also want to thank the former management team for their many years of service and dedication to the members of AfriForum and the larger community of Springs. Some of these members have served AfriForum’s Springs branch for up to 14 years, and their hard work and selfless contributions are truly appreciated,” concludes Ferreira.
