Neighbourhood watch members receive fire-fighting training
Twelve members of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch and the Kraaifontein Sector 4B neighbourhood watch this past weekend received level 1 training in fire-fighting. AfriForum presented the training in cooperation with SafeTech.
“AfriForum would like to empower the communities to offer support to the community in all emergency situations – whether it is to fight fires, to offer first-aid to injured persons at accident scenes or to act proactively to combat crime,” says André Theron, Safety Chairperson of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch.
