Petition over the Tsitsikama Conservancy

AfriForum sent documentation to Edna Molewa, Minister of Environmental Affairs, in which the organisation raised its concerns about the future of the Tsitsikamma Marine Conservancy (TMC). AfriForum is also prepared to take legal action with your support in this regard. The TMC is the oldest conserved marine area in the world and offers a uniqu habitat to endangered and exploited fish species. It is also the largest breeding area for among other endemic fish species. Research shows that aquatic fauna will be seriously threatened even if only the smallest fishing activities are allowed here.
