Free ambulance services for Deneysville’s AfriForum members

Vaal Emergency Care Private Ambulance Services undertook today to make free ambulance services available to the members of AfriForum’s Deneysville branch. This offer only applies to life-threatening emergencies such as gunshot wounds and heart attacks and does not include medication.

They would like to sponsor the following:

  • Free ambulance services for members of AfriForum’s Deneysville, Oranjeville and Viljoensdrift branche when reported by the AfriForum control room.
  • Please note: If non-members are injured on patrol, they will receive help at a minimum cost.
  • Free first aid training to patrollers, which includes basic first aid until the ambulance from Sasolburg arrives.
  • Two first aid bags to patrollers.
  • Two sets of vehicle magnets with their logo.

The company is also prepared to organise marketing days with the AfriForum team, where an ambulance will be present for children to see what an ambulance looks like inside. People will also be able to have their blood pressure and blood glucose levels tested. For more information click here.

“This is a huge opportunity and a sizable donation from the ambulance service. It offers the community another advantage when they are part of the branch. We have various projects planned, and within days will start cleaning the town and filling potholes. It’s wonderful that the patrollers are trying to fight crime. The residents can report emergencies by radio or on the following emergency number: 087 152 3176,” says Chris Els, Chairperson of the Deneysville-branch.

“The branch wants to make a difference in their community and isn’t wasting time. I firmly believe that Deneysville will soon look a lot better. It’s wonderful to work with such enthusiastic people,” says Alta Pretorius, District Coordinator for Mooirivier.

The community is encouraged to get involved with AfriForum or this branch to make a real difference: SMS “Deneysville or Oranjeville” to 45344 (R1).
