AfriForum establishes a branch in Cradock

After various requests from the community of Cradock an AfriForum branch was officially established on 13 October in this town.

“AfriForum’s safety team is ready to assist the residents of Cradock so they can feel safe again and to make a real difference in their living conditions,” says David Olivier, AfriForum’s Provincial Safety Coordinator in the Eastern Cape.

During the meeting, Olivier provided a comprehensive summary of the benefits and the functioning of AfriForum’s safety structures, including accredited training, equipment, a national network and valuable experience.

The management of the branch was chosen as follows: Wayne de Beer (Chairman), Jaco Mulder (Vice Chairman), Liezl Rautenbach (Secretary), Conrad Killian (Treasurer), Andrew Jordaan (Safety Officer – Rural Area) and Ivan Stock (Safety Officer – Town Area).

“We want to thank each person who offered to help the community of Cradock by serving on the management of AfriFrorum’s Cradock branch. We look forward to the road ahead and to establish pride and ownership again together with everybody in this Eastern Cape town,” says Arno Greyling, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for the Southern and Eastern Cape.
