Neighbourhood watches

AfriForum established its first neighbourhood watch in 2012 and has since expanded to 177 nationwide. The neighbourhood watches have communication networks, response capabilities, access to an information system, drones, training and support from AfriForum’s head office.

Neighbourhood watch app

AfriForum has developed a highly advanced cellphone application (app) specifically for its neighbourhood watch members. The app can be used to log on and off duty, monitor the patroller’s location in real time, report incidents, collect information using photos and videos and to call for help.
